The Survey Records System,
or SRS provides online access to thousands of maps, plans, and a variety of records related to land information. Records can be searched using a standard web browser in a number of ways: by address, by record number, by quad sheet for control monuments, or geographically via a map interface.
The SRS requires both
Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, and
Adobe Systems® SVG Viewer 3.0 or higher. Your
pop-up blocker MUST BE disabled!
Do you have questions or are you experiencing any problems using the SRS?
Email us at SRScoordinator@sdcounty.ca.gov. Routine maintenance to this website occurs on Saturday evenings from 7:00 P.M. to 12:00 Midnight resulting in brief periods when this website is non-functional.
The SRS is designed to be a supplement to the more complete and possibly more current record documents available at the research counter located in Cartographic Services, 5201 Ruffin Road, Suite D, San Diego, California, 92123. The following documents are only available at the research counter: 200 scale topographic and orthophoto topographic maps, BLM plats and notes, GIS maps, vertical benchmarks and other miscellaneous record documents.
The first order control monuments provided on this website are a combination of San Diego County control points and quasi first order control monuments independently established by third party surveyors. The County makes no guarantee of accuracy for the third party control points. Surveyors are required to perform due diligence when using these points for a survey.
